4D data support has now been added to all volume layouts. The volume stripe layouts can now also support the display of gated or dynamic for D series. This allows CT, SPECT hybrid gated data sets to be viewed. 4D data support enables image fusion OF24D data sets as well as 4D movie capability in all volume layouts and segments. In addition, Multiselect 4D data sets are enabled for enhanced drag and drop functionality. On image fusion, the system performs spatial and temporal registration. Learn more about 4D data support in the following sections. To display your required gated series, use the left mouse button to click and drag the gated data set to the desired segment. Upon release, the existing series will be changed immediately. A series identifier indicates which series is currently displayed. If the gated series is dragged as a whole, the first gate is displayed. Optionally, you can drag and drop one individual time slot with the left mouse button. The existing time slot will be changed immediately along all lanes. If a 4D dynamic series is dragged as a whole, the last phase is displayed. The volume stripe layout will automatically load functional series. Anatomical series would need to be added using the right mouse button to drag and drop and add. Drag and drop of 4D series with the right mouse button and selecting replace all will replace the existing series. To fuse data in the active segment, one series needs to be the base series. For example, the CPT Recon. Using the right mouse button, drag and drop the gated M data from the series navigator to the segment. Fuse as base or fuse as overlay, MTR and fuse VRT MIP are possible. Vert mic is not supported in volume stripe layouts. Select fuse as overlay. If the gated series is dragged as a whole, the first gate is displayed. Alternatively, you can select your desired time slot. Using the left mouse button to drag and drop on fused segments, the overlay or bass is replaced based on modality. To enable multiselect drag and drop, select two series with control and left click. Both series shall be suitable for 3D or 4D visualization. Now drag the data set to be fused and viewed to the required segment. The system performs automatic image fusion of the two selected series with an MPR filter applied following the rule that anatomical is base and functional is the overlay series. With left click, drag and drop you can change the series to be fused. The existing series will be changed immediately. Optionally, you can drag one individual time slot. The existing time slot will be changed immediately along all lanes. For the same modalities, the first selected is base and the second selected is overlay. Please note image fusion of time slots of 1 gated series is not possible. If the dropped series combination, including Fusion order, is already displayed in the target segment, the system restricts the operation. To view the data set in motion, select a segment and press the spacebar. The movie toolbar is only available in the main segment. The data set now plays in Cinemode. The 4D movie is synchronized for all 4D volumes. If 24D series are viewed separately, a onetoone sync between the fused and nonfocused views for temporal navigation is applied. The two series with the same gates are viewed in volume stripe slots. They always display the same gate number. To stop the data set from gating, press the spacebar again. Alternatively, to start the sinni, move the mouse pointer over the Sydney icon and click the play icon. To increase or decrease the speed of the cinny, move the slider to the desired speed. As already mentioned with Image Fusion, the system performs spatial and temporal registration. The slice currently displayed can be changed while in cinny mode by using the scroll wheel. Upon release, the data set sydneys again. To move to an area of interest more quickly, move the mouse pointer to the edge of the segment, right click and drag the mouse U or down to navigate to the required slice. Or use the UI or down arrow keys for spatial navigation. To navigate through the gates known as temporal Navigation, press Alt Plus the left or right arrow keys. Or simply right click and drag left or right. Alternatively, move the mouse pointer over the cinny icon and open the toolbar to navigate through the gates. Please note in a movie segment, the projection data is prioritized over mic volume, stripe plus movie. In the case of PET series where no projection data is present, the movie segment will fall back to mid.
