Singer breast care Tomoe offers you a broad feature set especially designed to support you in reading your Tomo synthesis data set sufficiently. It allows you to configure your individual report flow, including tomosynthesis layouts, and to use the same tools As for 2D mammography reading. You can review your Tomo images in slice by slice mode or use 3D visualization modes and customize the slice thickness and display the images in slab mode before you start the evaluation. Make sure that you have assigned the study correctly to MG breast and then open it with a double click. If it is not assigned correctly, right click the study and select open with MG breast to open it manually. If the report flow already contains tomosynthesis layouts, please step through it until you reach a suitable layout. Tomo synthesis layouts can also be assessed via the layout Gallery. The layouts are identified by multi layer icons an the letter T in their name. Syngo breast care Tomo provides an information overlay which shows the currently displayed slice number versus the total number of slices in the current Tomo synthesis data set. To combine multiple slices of a Tomo, synthesis data set syngo via provides 3D reconstruction tools, which can be assessed via the bottom left corner menu. MYP, thin, and NPR thick are common tools for reviewing user defined combined tomo synthesis slabs. Either slab blocks or user defined slab spacing can be configured as slab mode option. The mic thin function creates a maximum intensity projection from the images of the Tomo synthesis data set. The volume is evaluated voxel by voxel in the selected orientation. The voxels with the maximum intensity are recorded in a 2D image. The result is a parallel projection of the volume. Try to find the thickness of the slabs you need to open the MYP thin properties dialog. The dialog window will be displayed. Highlight the millimeter field and enter in a number to specify the slab thickness. Press enter on the keyboard. To create a slab block from the Tomo synthesis slices, choose 100% of the slab thickness and press OK. The new setting will be applied immediately. The slice number image takes overlay indicates the different slabs as you scroll through the stack or volume. To create a continuous slices display, enter a number for the millimeter in the mid Thin properties dialog. Choosing 1.0 millimeter and pressing OK will display each slice, including the information of the surrounding slices based on the slab thickness chosen in the slab thickness field. As you scroll through the stack, the slice thickness indicator remains as defined in a slab thickness field, where the sliced number changes continuously. The slice thickness can be changed directly in the image text overlay. To do so, left click the slice thickness, image text and with the mouse button pressed, move the mouse up to increase the slab thickness or down to decrease it. The multi planar reconstruction function combines the loaded images into a volume which is used for reconstructing slices in any orientation. The parimeter setting for NPR thick are similar to those for the MYP thin. Two reset the segment to the original tomosynthesis slices after applying map thin or NPR thick, choose 2D from the bottom left corner menu.
