Cases and Content Library

After starting the application you begin in the Case menu. Here you can see your imported cases, import new ones or use factory cases. The content library includes all data that is provided by Siemens, Health and Ears. The content is grouped into anatomical sections. Which currently include extremities, head, neck, pathologies and torso. More content will be added continuously. Additional subgroups allow a finer subdivision. If you click on a group, all images for this category including the subgroups are shown on the right side. The cases belonging to a subgroup have A tag in the upper right hand corner indicating their classification the green tick. Indicates that you already downloaded the case. To download a case, simply click on the Download button in the Case menu you find all cases you imported. Several options are available. To quickly find a specific case, you can either sort by each column or use the search bar. You can also select the column in which you want to search to import a case. Just click on Import in the lower right corner. Then you can either drag and drop or manually select the folder to import the DICOM images. When you have found your case, press the play button to start the visualization. You can also change the metadata of the case, for example the name. In addition, you can delete the case, move it to another group or display additional information. For better organization you can assign your cases to different groups and create subgroups. Underneath are the pre installed cases from the content library. All cases that were downloaded from the content library are listed. They offer the same functionalities as the cases you imported yourself. In the Presentations menu, different presentations of a case can be saved in different views called Keyframes for quick and easy presentation. On the left side is the folder structure, at the top are the self created presentations and at the bottom the ones you downloaded from the content library. By clicking on a presentation or a case the visualization tab loads the image and shows the visualization. The.
