Atellica® Process Manager Configurations Online Training

Welcome to the Atellica® Process Manager Configurations Online Training course. Listed below are the key points that have been presented.  Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz.     Customizing Dashboard Items The Dashboard can be customized to provide relevant summary information. You can: Rearrange the tiles for preferred layout Add tiles Remove tiles Resize tiles Resize a Dashboard tile by right clicking a tile and selecting Small, Medium, Wide, or Large. Configuring Zones and 3D Views Use the Zone Designer to create a new zone, edit, or delete a zone. Zone Designer creates a complete layout of the lab for the 3D View that includes the instruments, furniture, walls, and floors. You must have the appropriate level of security to use Zone Designer. Creating Alert and Sample Rules Select Settings > Rules. Select Alert. Select New Rule, and a type from the drop-down menu. Edit the rule in the configuration text box by selecting hyperlinks and editing the rule. Select Save Rule.   Select Setup > Rules > Samples. Select New Rule. Select either On-Time STAT Display Rule or Turnaround Time Rule. Change the information for each rule by selecting the hyperlinks in the text and editing the information. Select Save.   Inventory Alert Rules When creating a new alert rule for inventory items, only reagent and inventory items currently reported by the instrument will be available for configuration. It is recommended to configure alert rules for inventory items when the instrument is online. Creating Canned Comments Add comments that can be commonly used in the Atellica® Process Manager:   Select Settings > Canned Comments. Select Add New. Enter the comment. This is a free-text field. Enter a keyboard shortcut in the Shortcut code field. Select Save. You can now use this comment for alerts throughout the Atellica® Process Manager. After you have added comments, the comments display in this window in a grid.   The Dashboard can be customized to provide relevant summary information. Customizing the Dashboard Learn about customizing the dashboard.  View time of day.  View username, sign in or out.  Change text size- small, medium or large. Check mark displays the active selection.  Add a tile to the dashboard.  Select the edit dashboard layout.  Hide dashboard and create more space for viewing other areas of the interface.  Use the mouse to hover over the help to display the PM client and server software versions. The Zone Designer allows the user to create a new zone, edit a zone, or delete a zone. Zone Designer creates a complete layout of the lab for the 3D View that includes the instruments, furniture, walls, and floors. You must have the appropriate level of security to use Zone Designer. Adding or Editing a Zone Learn how to add or edit a zone. Adding or Editing a Zone: Select the zone from the pre-defined list on the left-hand side or select Add Zone to add a new zone Select Add Equipment and choose from a drop-down list of managed instruments, automation modules or furniture, such as benches, doors, grids, and windows Use the Zoom Control icons or slide bar to zoom in or out of the main display Select Save to save all changes you have made to the zone Select Cancel to cancel your most recent edits After adding a new instrument, restart the client Draw and color floors and walls Deleting A Zone Learn how to delete a zone. Deleting a Zone: Select Settings > Zone Designer Select a zone from the zone list Select Delete to delete the zone The Atellica Process Manager allows the user to create alert and sample rules. Creating Alert Rules Learn how to create alert rules. Create alert rules to notify operators when certain system levels reach a critical point. For example, if a consumable or waste level reaches a certain threshold, create an alert for such an event. The operator can create and set up alerts and auto-filter rules by instrument. Creating an Alert Rule: Select Settings>Rules Select Alert Select New Rule and a type from the drop-down menu Edit the rule in the configuration text box by selecting hyperlinks and editing the rule Select Save Rule Configuring Sample Rules Learn how to configure sample rules. Creating Canned Comments Learn how to create canned comments. Add comments that can be commonly used in the Atellica® Process Manager: Select Settings> Canned Comments. Select Add New.  Enter the comment. This is a free-text field. Enter a keyboard shortcut in the Shortcut code field. Select Save. You can now use this comment for alerts throughout the Atellica® Process Manager. After you have added comments, the comments display in this window in grid form. ​   The Atellica Process Manager allows the user to apply alert and sample rule parameters after creating a new alert or sample rule.  Sample Rule Parameters Learn how to apply sample rule parameters. Apply New Name To Sample RuleHTML The fourth link allows the operator to name the new sample rule that has been created. The default name is listed in the box when the hyperlink is selected. The operator can change the name by typing a new name in the box then save the name of the rule by selecting OK.  Enabling New Sample RulesHTML To enable the new rule that has been created, check the enable rule box after selecting the Enabled hyperlink in the box on the bottom of the screen. Once you have checked the box, select OK.  Alert Rule Parameters Learn how to apply alert rule parameters. Calibration Expiration WarningHTML To show an alert warning when a calibration is about to expire, click on the third link in the middle of the page, check the generate a warning box and set the time parameter, then select ok.  Calibration Critical AlertHTML To show an alert warning when a calibration has expired, click on the fourth link in the middle of the page, check the generate a warning box and set the time parameter, then select ok.  Sending An Email When Calibration Alerts OccurHTML To send an email to the Lab Admin, Network Support or both, select the fifth link in the white box in the middle of the screen, check the appropriate email addresses, then click ok.  Escalating Alerts If Not AcknowlegedHTML To enable escalating an alert if it is not acknowledged, click on the link in the white box in the middle of the screen. Check the box that states to escalate the alert and set the time in the box. Select Ok when complete.  Escalating Alerts If Not ResolvedHTML To enable escalating an alert if it is not resolved, click on the link in the white box in the middle of the screen. Check the box that states to escalate the alert and set the time in the box. Select Ok when complete.  Renaming The New Alert RuleHTML To rename the alert rule, click on the link at the bottom of the white box in the center of the page. Enter the name in the white bar then press ok.  Enable/Disable New Alert RuleHTML To enable or disable the alert rule, click on the enabled link at the bottom of the white box.
